The Alumni Association is a driving force in the efforts to advance The University of Southern Mississippi. By joining with the thousands of others who support the Alumni Association, you are helping the Association act on behalf of all alumni to support and maintain the greatness of the University while pushing the institution forward to new levels of accomplishment. As a member of the Association, you are not just giving back, you are also laying a solid foundation for a stronger University for generations to come.
Several membership options are available, each of which entitles you to all the benefits of Association membership including a subscription to The Talon quarterly alumni magazine, eligibility for a waiver of out-of-state tuition for children of alumni (subject to University guidelines) and access to the C.A.R.D. program, which offers discounts by participating retailers.
Please note that if you choose to renew your current membership online prior to its expiration, your benefits will be extended from the date your membership was set to expire rather than the date of renewal.

- Annual Membership - Single, $35; Joint, $40
- Three-Year Advance Payment - Single, $75; Joint, $105
- Life Membership - Single, $450; Joint, $600
- Senior Eagle Plan - Single, $25; Joint, $30
- Recent Grad Discount - Single Annual, $15; Joint Annual, $20
- Recent Grad Three-Year, $45; Joint Three-Year, $60
Additional benefits of the Three-Year Advance Payment option include: reduced annual rates and the receipt of one of the following items: Southern Miss T-shirt, License Plate or Mouse Pad.
Life Memberships can be paid in full or broken down into five equal annual payments. Please note that a $50 administrative fee is included in the five-payment Life Membership plan.
Alumni 60 years old and older can receive $10 off the annual dues rate of $35 under the Senior Eagle Plan, and alumni who have graduated in the last three years can receive more than 50 percent off the annual rate through the Recent Grad Discount option.
