The Legacy's T-Shirt Burn 
The Legacy will hold its annual T-shirt Burn before the Southern Miss vs. Kansas football game at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010, on the Centennial Green on the Hattiesburg campus. The group will take collected t-shirts from other schools around the country and set them on fire to ignite the crowd of fans before the game. 15th Annual Homecoming Eagle 5k Run 
The 15th Annual Homecoming Eagle 5k Run will take place on October 9. Pre-registration for the run is $20 and must be received by September 25. Race day registration is $40. Families of 3 or more may enter for $50 by September 25 and $70 on race day. There will also be a walker division, and sponsorships are also available. Race day registration will take place in the parking lot behind the Trent Lott Center (west side of the building). Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race start is set for 8 a.m. The 5k benefits the Southern Miss Student Sports Medicine Association. 2010 Centennial Homecoming Parade 
The 2010 Centennial Homecoming parade will return to its former location on Saturday, October 9, when the parade will make its way through downtown Hattiesburg. The parade route will begin at the Hattiesburg Public Library and make a loop through downtown. The parade will end back at the library.
