Central MS Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship
The Central MS Chapter of the Southern Miss Alumni Association represents Hinds, Rankin, Madison, Simpson, Copiah, Claiborne, Warren and Yazoo counties. Each year, this chapter selects three outstanding students from these eight counties and awards each $500 one-time scholarships. Eligibility is based on academic performance, participation in extracurricular activities, and involvement in the community. Gulf Coast Metro Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship
The Gulf Coast Metro Chapter of the Southern Miss Alumni Association represents Harrison, Hancock and Stone counties. This chapter is currently awarding multiple scholarships to high school seniors who have outstanding performances in and out of the classroom. Eligibility requirements include academic performance as well as community service and extracurricular activities. Laurel Metro Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship
The Laurel Metro Chapter of the Southern Miss Alumni Association represents Jones, Jasper and Smith counties. The chapter is currently awarding two $500 scholarships to high school seniors that have graduated high school with a grade point average not less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and have participated in and demonstrated leadership ability in various extracurricular activities in both school and the community. Preference shall be given to an incoming freshman and to children of Southern Miss alumni. South Central MS Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship
The South Central MS Alumni Chapter of the Southern Miss Alumni Association represents Covington, Forrest, Jefferson Davis, Lamar, Marion and Perry counties. The chapter awards eight $500 one-time scholarships to high school seniors from these six counties. Southeast MS Alumni Chapter
The Southeast MS Chapter of the Southern Miss Alumni Association is comprised of Jackson and George counties. The chapter awards three $1,000 one-time scholarships to high school seniors planning to attend Southern Miss in the fall.
